Codey Rocky is a fun robot that likes to travel and solve problems. Codey is small but mighty in capturing student's imaginations and engaging them in learning. With this action-packed curriculum, students send Codey to Mars as a rocket, a spacecraft, and as a Mars Rover. Student use Apps to control how codey moves, make fun faces and sounds, detects colors and lines, and much more! This dynamic robot with curriculum can be used as a STEM lab in an Elementary grade 3 to 5 Science or Coding unit or as a grade 6 or 7 STEM, Earth and Space Science, Physical Science, Engineering, or Computer Science (Coding) course on its own.
Online lessons for a teacher to use in classrooms, home school, makerspaces, or after school clubs. There are 15 lessons which provide up to 45 hours of instruction, with hands‐on activities, worksheets, competitions, and open ended projects that can be stretched to create 60+ hours. It is adaptable to a 10 week or 16 week plan with 55 to 90 minutes per day, up to 5 days per week. Most lessons are designed to last from 55 to 110 minutes (with 15 to 25 minute activities that can be split across 2 or 3 class sessions) and can be varied based on time available and student interest.
The lessons teach coding with block based coding activities to send Codey Rocky on missions to solve problems.
