Boe-Bot Robot

Build a rolling personal robot and control it with a microcontroller brain. Keep students engaged while learning electronics concepts with the LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and other electronic parts which come with this kit. Students learn about and build circuits on the solderless breadboard and use Basic programming language to control the robot. This robot follows lines, navigates mazes, follows people or other robots, has whiskers to detect objects, detects light, flashes lights, plays tunes, and more!

    • Expandable - Additional sensors and hardware expansion kits are available to add additional engineering challenges

    • Durable - Thick, brushed-aluminum chassis with mounting holes for servos and accessories doesn't bend easily and will last for many years. Rugged wheels and continuous rotation servo motors for accurate control.

    • Communicable - LED lights,  a piezospeaker, phototransistors, and infrared emitter/receiver pairs provide fun methods of sending and receiving feedback

    • Connectable - USB cable to connect to PC for programming, then disconnect for autonomous roaming and activities

    • Battery Powered - Uses 4 AA Batteries for safe power with easy access to remove for recharging (batteries not included)

    • Circuit Buildable - Kit includes resistors, transistors, capacitors, LEDs, linear voltage regulator, wires, and all the parts needed to build project circuits

    • Controllable - Can use a standard remote control with infrared receiver to control movements (not included in kit)
